Gallery / Nevron Chart for .NET / Chart Types / Pie Chart

Pie charts visually represent the relative values of different entities in a sum total. Various pie shapes, labeling modes and options help arrange the chart and the labels within the scene, achieving best data visibility and visual impression. Pie chart
This example shows some of the pie chart options in use. Multiple sectors can be exploded in 2D and 3D mode. The built-in data series sorting functionality allows to implement Ascending and Descending sorting of the pie sectors and the data labels are visualized at the pies rim. The smooth edge mode adds to the quality of the visual perception of rendered objects. Exploded Pie Chart
A pie chart may be rendered in different shapes - standard and smooth edge pie, standard, smooth edge or cut edge ring and torus, thus increasing the diversity of chart looks available for advertisements and presentations. The data labels are visualized in Spider Mode - aligned in columns on the left and right side of the pie. Pie Chart - Torus Mode
The pie chart data labels can be displayed in several modes: Center, Rim, Spider and Spider Non overlapping modes. Non overlapping labels mode is similar to the Spider mode, but the data labels are automatically positioned to avoid overlaps and to stay within the bounds of the chart panel. In this mode the labels can be scaled down if necessary. Non Overlapping Labels
An example of several Pie charts within a single chart control. Multiple Charts
Begin angle and Total angle allow full control over the pie chart. In this example the total angle is set to 299 degrees instead of 360. These preferences are extremely useful for creating impressive presentations, or even building frames for a chart animation. Pie Chart - Partial Angle
