A common requirement for surface charts is to
highlight the elevation zones they display. Zoning
can be applied to both the surface filling and the
surface frame.

By default the component uses an automatic palette
to highlight the surface zones. The user can
override this behaviour and apply a custom palette
to the surface.

The component supports holes (empty data points)
for surface charts.

The surface presentation group can be configured
to show the surface as a contour. The user is
then able to position the contour at an arbitrary
vertical position.

The user can optionally display surface walls,
which connect the surface rim with the chart floor.

An unique feature of the 3DChart component is the
ability to display XYZ surfaces. In the case of
such a surface the user just passes an array of
(X,Y,Z) coordinates and the component
automatically determines the optimal
triangulation that should be used.
