Hello,

we have the plan to buy the new Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 near after release date at the end of April.

We will use the great Nevron Lib in a new project started now.
When is the release of a version of Nevron lib for the platform Visual Studio 2010 intended?

Regards,

Wilhelm

Hello Wilhelm,

Regarding VS2010 and .NET 4.0, it is a company policy to have installations only for officially released versions of VS and the .NET framework. However, we have tested the controls with VS2010 Beta 2 and RC, they are working fine. The .NET 4.0 RC (Beta) is giving problems and we are waiting for the official release. Compiling with .NET 3.5 works correctly.

Once VS2010 and the .NET 4.0 are officially released, it will take no more than a week for the official installation of Nevron .NET Vision for VS2010.

Please let us know if you have any questions and forward all issues you meet with the VS2010 evaluation.

Best Regards,
Nevron Support Team

Hi Nevron Support,

thank you for the reply.
And how can I test the Nevron libs with VS 2010 RC?
The default installation is only for VS 2008.
I have opened the C# example project for VS 2008 in VS 2010 RC. After I have added some lib references (e.g. to Nevron.Examples.Framework.WinForm) I can compile - and run - the programm, but the visual designer of some forms are not executed because a "The type 'System.Windows.Forms.Panel' has no property named 'Name'." error message.
My testing is only for .NET 3.5.

Any tips?

Regards

Wilhelm

Hi,

Since VS 2010 official release now is on the market, when can we expect the new libs for VS2010? The current one will not install in VS 2010.

regards
Hasse

Nevron .NET Vision 2010 Vol.1 SP9 has been released

The service pack introduces:

- Support for Visual Studio 2010 - new installation for VS2010 is available for download

- Update for all installation version – Nevron .NET Vision for VS2005, VS2008 and VS2010

- Significant performance improvements in the Chart Sampled Series

Nevron .NET Vision 2010 Vol.1 SP9 is now available for download: http://www.nevron.com/Downloads.Download.aspx

To download the latest service pack, you have to login to your user account.

NOTE: VS 2010 users must switch the target framework to ".NET Framework 4" as by default Windows Forms applications target ".NET Framework 4 Client Profile". This is required, because Nevron Chart and Diagram for WinForms are using design time support features that are not present in ".NET Framework 4 Client Profile". To do this right click on the project in Solution Explorer and select properties. On the Application tab go to "Target Framework" and select ".NET Framework 4".

Nevron .NET Vision for VS2010 Help Documentation is now in CHM format.
