I am currently moving my development system to a Win 8.1 system.

I purchased MSVS 2013 and downloaded Vision for it (we are still doing desktop apps for our instruments whether MS likes it or not).

I then attempted to use the license manager to add my keys and received the attached message (BTW I am logged in as Administrator).

Looking at the preview of this message I don't see the attachment (but maybe I wouldn't) so the message is:

Failed to save license to registry. Exception was [Access to registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Nevron\License3 is denied].

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,
Lou

Hello Lou,
This may be an issue related to permissions – probably UAC is turned on.
You can try to right-click on the Nevron License Key Manager and select "Run as Administrator". Then save the developer license.

Hopefully this helps.
