Hi,
The mentioned font is a TrueType Collection (.ttc) font – that’s why you cannot access it with NOV as the system currently supports TrueType (.ttf) fonts only. However we’ll be extending the font system to support true type collections in the near future.

Best Regards,

Hi All,
At the current moment NOV supports ttf and ttc (TrueType collection fonts support was added in the last release of NOV and products that use it). We have plans to add support for otf files as well as they're just an "upgrade" over traditional .ttf files. BTW otf support seems to be very limited as Windows and Mac OS come with very little fonts in this format.

Best Regards,

Any change on the OTF front?  Windows and Mac may be limited on the number of fonts that come with it, but I am trying to use your product in an environment where we extensively use non standard fonts, primarily OTF. Currently I am required to edit your images after creation and change the fonts, this is causing some placement errors.

Hi Rich,
We haven't implemented OTF support but are going to in the near future.

OTF support is not related to the problem you meet with the spacing in the PDF export in Nevron Chart for .NET as this is a different product line. In fact if you switch from the .NET Chart to NOV chart for PDF export the spacing problem will disappear as NOV Chart has superior support for PDF export.

The spacing problem Im having is created when I switch the TTF font that the graph is created with to the OTF that I am required to have in my finished product.  I have created an automated process that realigns the labels after the font has been changed, but I would much prefer to have the correct font set from the beginning.
