Looks like legend for error bar series showes wrong marker. I have tested you sample application - open chart with XY Error Bar, added a legend and played with the Error Bar Series marker style. I changed fill color, shape but the legend icon for the Error bar series didnt change at all. See the screenshot. Is it a bug? Could it be fixed soon since it is critical for our application?

This looks like a problem in the component, but there is a relatively simple workaround. You can switch the legend in manual mode and add legend items manually. You can take a look at the following example in our Windows forms demo application:

All Examples > Panels > Legend > General

As for the problem in the auto legend - it will be fixed in the next service pack, which should be available next week.
