Hi, we're trying to create a chart that combines serveral series displayed as bar type with another series displayed as a line type, all on the same chart.

An example can be found on http://spchartexamples.nevron.com/default.aspx
In the "From Data, Through Pivots, To Dashboards" image, at the bottom of the dashboards box, there's a bar chart with a line also displayed above the bars.

Is this possible with Nevron Chart for SharePoint?

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

Yes, it is possible to achieve this with Nevron Chart for SharePoint. You can achieve combination of Bar and Line series with the Combo Charting Type and we are providing an example which comes with the evaluation version (Charting Types >> Combo).

Combo Charts are available in 2D and 3D. Series types are specified per values data groupings. There are many per series type options. You can combine the following series types: Bar, Area, Smooth Area, Line, Smooth Line, Step Line, Point, Bubble, High Low, Stock, Error Bar, Box and Whiskers, Vector and Range.

Questions or comments, please feel free.

Best Regards,
Nevron Support Team

Thanks for that, I didn't look very hard. That does exactly what I wanted to do.
