Greetings all,

Continuing to investigate errors during install of Nevron Gauge for SharePoint into an all-in-one SP2010 Enterprise Edition | SQL 2005 Std Edition all on one server.

Here's another oddity I've encountered which is contrary to what I should expect using the online install guide as a reference:

LOGGED-IN to server with same admin account used to install SP2010 itself...
ACCEPTED default install location...
SELECTED to install for Everyone...
CHECKED to auto-start SharePoint Registrator...
CLICKED various "Next" buttons throughout install...
SELECTED "Register Nevron SharePoint Vision Web Parts" & clicked "Next" button...
ACCEPTED all 3 pre-checked boxes to Create Temp Dir, Create HTML docs, Add WebParts to SharePoint Solution Store...
SELECTED/CHECKED the ONLY existing SharePoint Web Application (on port 80) on this server...
CLICKED "Finish"...
=>
Output displays iisreset.exe    ...
Progress bar begins to display ...
Output shows iis stop/restart successful...

HERE'S THE ODDITY...

Output displays "stsadm.exe -o execsvcjobs"

Output then displays "The administration service is running so all administration jobs will be run in the timer service."
Output then displays "stsadm.exe -o addsolution -filename NevronSharePointVision.wsp "

Output then displays LOTS of status about setting access control, but NO actual ERROR messages...

Output displays "stsadm.exe -o deploysolution {and other options whose values are confidential}...
Output displays "Operation completed successfully." :-)

AHHHHH.... I now look at my screenshots, and see that there is an stsadm -o activatefeature command which tried to active the feature at the ROOT website of the web app, when this is NOT where I wanted to activate the feature. Rather, I wanted to active the feature at /sites/testwebsite/ ...
