I am trying to add shading to the back of my chart, i have managed to do this looping through my series, and adding a shade to the back based on the label value of the data.

The problem is there are no gaps in my dataset, yet clearing there appear to be thin line gaps across the chart

What might cause this?

Hi Clare,

The thin gaps are probably caused by pixel snapping internally in the chart. It is done intentionally in order to produce more crisp images. To work around the problem you can try to group adjacent stripes and paint them as a single one.
