Hi @ all,

in the link no. 1 you can see my drawingview settings for the snap-manager. The grid cellsize is fixed to 50;50 MajorMinorLines!

well, in the link no. 2 are two shapes which i want move aligned the grid.

a) The left shape got the size [100;50] of a even numbers of the gridsize [50]. In this case is the snapping great .

- also possible [xxx;100], [xxx;200], [xxx;300], [xxx,400]...

b) The right shape got the size [100,150] a odd numbers of the gridsize [50]. In this case it wont snap aligned the grid ?

- also the same case for the shapesize [xxx;50], [xxx;250], [xxx,350]...

Hi,

The grid has nothing to do with snapping, it only provides properties for setting the appearans of the drawing view’s grid. Note that when you move the shapes with the mouse there’s a different strength of snapping applied which depends on the element the moved shape is snapped to. To modify the snapping strengths use the SnapStrength property of the drawing view’s snap manager.
