Hello-

I'm interested in seeing the potential from using Nevron Chart for Sharepoint but I'm having all kinds of problems right off the bat.  My problems are the following -

The documentation for installation is mis-leading in that it makes it seem that if you use the Sharepoint Registration Tool you should be set, no additional work required

This doesn't seem to be the case as I've done this tool with no errors whatsoever.  However, when I attempt to add the Web part to a WSS page, click the Chart Designer I get access denied.  I'm the Farm administrator and also a Windows local admin.  What gives?

I've searched everywhere and my problem must be unique.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

-Chris

We are getting the same Access Denied error when we click on Run Chart Designer (Windows Server 2003, WSS 3.0 only (no MOSS), SQL Server 2005 with IE 6.0 at client workstations on Windows XP Pro).

To reproduce it within your labs, try creating a new Sharepoint App with no collection at the root. Then create a collection under /sites/whatever and install your package.

Because there is no access at the root of the app, every user will be getting an access denied message when clicking on your Run Chart Designer button.

We don't give any rights at the root level of our Sharepoint apps over here and your products seems to require it to work.
