Can you control which way the steps move first in a step line chart? For example if I have two values

4/1/2010 => 10
4/2/2010 => 5

I've graphed the date along the X axis and the value along the Y axis. In the scenario above. The point for 4/1/2010 is drawn then the stop moves over then down. So it looks like 4/2/2010 really has a value of 10 as well. is there anyway to make the step drop down first then over?

Thank You in advance.

Hi Bo,

Just pasting this on the forum in case somebody else needs this feature:

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Currently the step line does not support VH (vertical-horizontal) connection (only HV), but there are also several other modes (depending on the front of the line – ascending or descending).

The good news is that we have this setting in the underlying charting engine and it will be published by the end of this week in the VS2010 compatible edition of the controls. I expect we’ll have a SSRS update several days after the VS2010 compatible launch.

Best regards,
Bob
