Hello-

I'm interested in seeing the potential from using Nevron Chart for Sharepoint but I'm having all kinds of problems right off the bat.  My problems are the following -

The documentation for installation is mis-leading in that it makes it seem that if you use the Sharepoint Registration Tool you should be set, no additional work required

This doesn't seem to be the case as I've done this tool with no errors whatsoever.  However, when I attempt to add the Web part to a WSS page, click the Chart Designer I get access denied.  I'm the Farm administrator and also a Windows local admin.  What gives?

I've searched everywhere and my problem must be unique.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Chris,

The code behind is just a C# class that is compiled in the Nevron.Chart.SharePoint.Design.dll assembly. IIS will automatically create an instance of this class when it loads the aspx.

We are positive that the installation problem that you experience is related to security and/or the environment in which you try to run the chart designer. Unfortunately we were not able to reproduce the error on the test environment that we have made - the chart installed and was flawlessly editable.

Have you tried to insert any other third party web parts? Are they operating without problems?
