Your privacy and security are very important to us. Therefore our policy is to respect and protect your privacy to the extent that you share information with us. We understand your concern over the privacy of any personal information you supply to us and your need to control this information. This Nevron Privacy Policy summarizes our policies concerning privacy and your use of our websites (www.nevron.com, docs.nevron.com), and/or any other Nevron-owned or controlled websites (the "Sites"). You should not access or use our website if you have objections to this Privacy Policy. You can browse through most of our websites without giving us any information about yourself. Still, there are certain areas of our site, for example, the online technical support area, for which we do need information from you. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to take a moment to read this online Privacy Policy.

Anonymous Use of the Sites

You are free to visit the Sites and access any information contained therein, giving us any information about yourself. Any identifying information collected in our web traffic logs is standard anonymous, domain-based information only and may also include information such as your browser type, the referring site/URL, the time and duration of your visit, and the pages accessed. At no time will you be personally identifiable by us, and all web server log information is used for anonymous, aggregated traffic and site activity analysis.

Does Nevron ask for personal information?

We do not ask for personal information if you simply choose to visit and browse the Sites, but we do ask for such information if you request information from us, when you register for an account on the Sites, place an order, subscribe to newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. Personal information may include your name, mailing address, phone number and/or e-mail address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. We will ask for additional personal information in the event that you download our products, request services, or contact sales support. Such other personal information may include your company name, job title and department, telephone and fax numbers.

NOTE: When ordering products or services, you may be asked to provide a credit card number and billing information. However, we use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing and no credit card or billing information is saved on our servers, or the Sites.

Nevron collects your personal information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you subscribe to a service or register a product, for example, the information is used to register your rights, if any, to technical support or other benefits that may be made available to registered users. As another example, if you enter a contest, information is collected to qualify your entry and so that we may contact you regarding the contest or prize awards. Your personal information is also used to keep you informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other products and services of Nevron.

Credit Card Processing

We use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. Under our agreement with this service provider, it is not permitted to store, retain, or use your Personal Information or your billing information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on our behalf. In certain cases, we may have access to the last four digits of your credit card number, its expiration date, and the billing address (collectively, the "Billing Information"), which we will use solely to assist us in providing you better and more efficient customer service. In addition, we and our service provider may use any information processed pursuant to this section at an aggregate level for internal business analyses and fraud prevention.

Will Nevron disclose any of your personal information?

Nevron will not disclose any of your personal information, except as described below, or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or to protect the rights or property of Nevron or others. If compelled by law to divulge your personal information to comply with laws or regulations of a governmental or regulatory body or in response to a valid subpoena, warrant, or order or to protect the rights of Nevron or others, Nevron will use its best business judgment to minimize such compelled disclosures.

Nevron does disclose aggregated user statistics and demographic information (for example, the geographic spread of our customer inquiries) in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. If and/or when we do match user information, we endeavor to keep personal information confidential from those third parties.

Additionally, if you make a purchase from the Sites, the information obtained during your visit to these parts of the Sites, and the information that you give such as your credit card number and contact information, is used only from our credit card service provider and is not stored on our servers, or the Sites.

How does Nevron use your personal information?

Nevron’s goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the user, with a personalized web experience, and our business partners with an efficient means to reach the right audience. By knowing a little about you, Nevron is able to deliver more relevant website content, and hence better service, to you. Any of the personal information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
  • Make it easier for you to use the areas of the Sites, like the technical support area.
  • Enable you to track the status of your technical support incidents.
  • Enable you to post messages in our technical support forums.
  • Help us maintain and retrieve information regarding the status of your product or subscription.
  • Send you information regarding product updates and special offers. Note that by initially providing us with your personal information, you are agreeing to receive such information. You do have the option of unsubscribing from receiving further information.
  • Send you information on product updates (if you are a customer). If you use our support system we will send you e-mail updates when your incident has been updated by our support personnel.

How do we protect your information?

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee security, or that the information that you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and from us over the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the Sites may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. Therefore, you acknowledge and agree that we assume no liability regarding the theft, loss, alteration, or misuse of Information, including, without limitation, such Information that has been provided to third parties or other users, or with regards to the failure of a third party to abide by the agreement between us and such third party.

The information you provide upon registration is also protected by a unique customer password and user ID ("Password and ID"). You should not disclose your Password and ID to anyone and you should always remember to log off if using a shared computer. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Password and ID, and for any use of your Password and ID, whether or not you have authorized such use.

In the interest of providing better service to its customers, Nevron uses resellers and other partners to provide certain marketing, sales, and support services to our customers. By submitting your personal information to Nevron, you understand and agree that Nevron may allow its resellers and other partners to access a portion of your personal information (contact information only) for the purpose of providing you with marketing, sales, and support services. Nevron will not share any demographic or payment information with any third party.

The Personal Information that you provide in connection with registering yourself as a user of Nevron products or services or registering a Nevron product is classified as Registration Information. Registration Information is protected in several ways. Access by you to your Registration Information is available through your Password and ID. We recommend that you do not reveal your password to anyone. In addition, your Registration Information resides on a secure server that only selected Nevron personnel have access to via password.

Personal Information that you provide that does not constitute Registration Information also resides on a secure server and is only accessible to selected Nevron personnel via password. Since this information is not accessible by you, you will not be asked to select a password in order to view or modify such information. Within Nevron, only authorized support personnel and executives have access to your Personal Information.

How do you update or change my personal information and privacy preferences?

You may access, correct, or make any changes to your personal information and privacy preferences at any time. This may be done by logging into your Nevron account at https://www.nevron.com, or https://docs.nevron.com and going to the 'My Account' page, 'Update Login Info', 'Update Contact Info', 'Update Account Info' sections.

Will Nevron use your information for direct mailing or e-mail mailings?

You may browse the Sites as you wish, and you will remain an anonymous user until you fill out one of our lead capture forms or otherwise provide your email address to us. We may send you promotional emails about our various products and services, or other products and services we feel may be of interest to you. Unless you specifically opt-out of receiving promotional emails from our business partners (see paragraph above), you may receive mailings from our business partners as well. Each such mailing, whether direct or by email, will include instructions for removing your name from this distribution list. In the case of e-mail mailings, this means a link in the email that you can use to opt-out of future mailings. All such mailings will originate from Nevron or one of Nevron’s business partners, and each such mailing will clearly identify the source of the mailing. Emails sent from Nevron include a link allowing you to unsubscribe from receiving further emails.

Does Nevron use cookies and IP addresses?

We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) and other technologies to help us collect other Information and to enhance your experience using the Nevron Sites. Cookies are small text files a web site can use to recognize a repeat visitor to the web site. We may use cookies for various purposes, including:
  • To help you navigate our Sites;
  • To facilitate the sign up and login process for our Sites;
  • To personalize your experience;
  • We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. as well as the DoubleClick cookie (see: http://www.google.com/doubleclick) and the Demographics and Interest Reporting to evaluate your use of the Nevron Sites, measure advertising and promotional effectiveness, personalize your experience, compile reports on activity and provide other services relating to Internet usage. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies that store information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the Sites before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page. Google classifies Google Analytics data as confidential information, governed by Google's privacy policies. Google’s privacy policy can be viewed at http://www.google.com/intl/None/policies/privacy/. By using the Nevron Properties, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
  • We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and security only. Our web servers automatically log the IP/Internet address of your computer, but this information is not used to identify you personally.
If you do not want Nevron to deploy cookies in your browser, you can opt-out by setting your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when a web site tries to put a cookie in your browser software. If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you can still access most of the Sites, however, your ability to use some of the features may be affected.

Google AdWords Remarketing

We use the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise our products and services across the Internet. Through this service, our site places a cookie (see the description of cookies above) on your computer to identify the parts of our site that you visit. This cookie does not identify you; it merely indicates that your computer has visited this part of our site. The Google AdWords remarketing service will then display relevant ads to you when you browse the rest of the Internet.

Opting Out from Google AdWords Remarketing. You can opt out of our Google AdWords remarketing service at any time by visiting Google’s “Ads Settings” preferences manager. You can also opt out of certain third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page.

Links to Third-Party Sites

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Nevron Sites. Some of the Nevron Sites include links to third-party sites. Nevron has no control over the privacy practices or the content of these sites. If you visit or submit information to any of those sites, your information is subject to their privacy statements. You should check the applicable third party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other site and before providing any information to other sites.

What else should you know about your privacy?

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, such as in a discussion forum or through e-mail or in a chat room, that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Please note that any information you post to a public bulletin board or chat room, such as the Nevron User to User Forums (the "Forums"), is available to all persons accessing that location. Your e-mail address would then be available to all persons accessing the Forums. The content of these messages and posts do not constitute the opinions of Nevron, but are expressly those of the online community members and their guests. Nevron makes no claims of agreement or disagreement with the opinions expressed online. We seek to maintain a dignified and business-like environment in these discussion areas, and will remove those posts that we deem to be unacceptable.

Furthermore, while we strive to protect your personal information, Nevron cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Therefore, you agree that you do so at your own risk and you assume any associated liabilities. In addition, if you access any third party website through a link from the Sites, the privacy and data collection practices of those third parties will apply and Nevron assumes and has no responsibility or liability for the policies and practices of such third parties. We tell you this to make it clear that you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account or personal information when you visit any website. Nevron stands behind its privacy policies and practices, but does not make any representations or warranties regarding the Sites or any third party websites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the Privacy Policy modification date. Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of your Information is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the information. If you visit the Sites or use the Nevron Sites after a change to this Privacy Policy is posted, you will be bound by such change. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
