Horizontal bar charts are virtually equivalent to vertical bar charts, but a different projection is used. The main difference between the two is that they use different alignment for the axes’ texts.

Manhattan charts display several series of data and are usually displayed in 3D view.

Multi Column charts display several levels of data, usually from different measures. This requires the columns to be scaled on different vertical axes. The user can also assign different origins for the columns.

The style of the bars can be a bar, cylinder, cone, inverted cone, pyramid, inverted pyramid, smooth edge bar or cut edge bar. In the case of smooth or cut edge bar, the user is able to control the edge size, as well as whether the top, bottom and middle edges (the ones between the segments in the piles) are displayed in the specified manner (cut or smoothed).

By default, the 3DChart component simply piles the stacks in the stack columns. The stack bar can also be configured to stack the bars so that they represent their percentage contribution to the overall pile sum. These stacks are called stacked percent bars.
